Roar 2007 USA Off Road Nationals Champion crowned!
Hey all:
Just for everyones information the new 2007 US Roar Off Road Champion is Adam Drake driving a Losi8.
2nd place was Jarod Tebo running the famous " 2 weeks" O donnell car!
3rd place was Ryan Cavaleri running the new Associated RC8.
It was a 1 hour main and had lots of action. Ryan Maifield had a 29 sec lead (1 lap) at the 35 minute mark with his Associated RC8 and had receiver problems, went down 2 laps, got back just to the lead lap and one of his servos went out. If he had not had any problems he was .5 seconds a lap faster than all the other racers. He would have won by about 3 laps and could have been a repeating 2 years in a row Champion.
The old saying " first you need to finish to finish first" is very true!
