Club Race Schedule
The schedule is tentative on enough help during setup, the more the merrier, and longer practice sessions we can have. Schedule will always be changed as needed to ensure 6PM or earlier teardown as needed.
We may adjust from 3 Rounds of Qualifying to 2, in the interest of time on any Club Race day.

6:00PM Track Blow-off

Saturdays:
8:00AM Track Build
9:00AM Traction Laydown
10:00AM Open Practice
11:00AM Round 1
12:30PM Lunch and Open Practice
1:00PM Round 2
2:30PM Round 3
4:00PM Mains
6:00PM Teardown

Location
BCIT Aerospace and Technology Campus
3800 Cessna Drive, Richmond, BC.

We are in the South Lot, the gates should be open year long for racing, accessible through both the main BCIT entrance and the north-bound Russ Baker Way entrance.

Facilities: No garbage collection, clean up after yourselves and your pitting areas. No excuses.

Bring your own tables, chairs and canopies. There may be some canopy space for those without.

No washrooms trackside. BCIT Buildings may have washrooms available. There is also a McDonalds 1 minute away.

Parking charge is included with race entries, we are charged per person racing.

We encourage those with generators to bring them and plan with a few members to share costs.
There is shared power available with the club generator, but not quite enough for everyone to tap in.

Entry Fees:
$40 First class including $10 tear down fee
$10 Second class
$Free Third class
$20 Out-Of-Towers Flat Rate (Outside of Metro Vancouver)

$10 teardown fee given to racers that help from start to finish of teardown.
It is expected that all local racers help with setup and teardown.

Insurance, generator, blower maintenance, fuel, parking lot rental and pop are still our main costs. We are continuing saving for capital replacement of storage and transport for the near future.
The tear down deposit encourages all racers to help with tear down.

Club funds go back into the planning, hosting, racing, insurance, track materials, and parking charges. If you would like to inquire about our finances, please speak with us.

Rainouts:

Race day cancellations will be on the morning of. No plans to reschedule as we have added extra race dates to compensate for this. Rare, last minute changes to a Sunday will be announced as soon as possible.

Track layout should be similar to our ending layout last year. I'm working on the setup guide for that.

If you have suggestions or requests for us to help improve the club or race day, please share. We do this for everyone, and we need the help of everyone to keep going strong.
