Default Oct 30th race results

Good afternoon, hope everyone had a great time with us yesterday. I'm still trying to wake up
Thanks to all that had stayed after the race program was done. Tear down was done quickly.
We ran a little behind on schedule. Mainly on mercy minutes and track repairs. Carpet tape were being pulled up and destroyed.
Number of things we need to do is to make sure your ride heights, body's are not too low and chassis screws are secured.
We are finding lots of screws on the track and missing body clips. Please use appropriate body clips for your cars.
If they seem to be loose, replace them. The clips and screws are finding it's way to the motors and it had happened on a few occasions.

Turn out was great. Everyone had fun. We had our first outing of open mini. It's been probably about 4 years or more since we ran mini class.
Overall, I think we had too much fun. In discussion at the moment if we leave mini with open motors or should we stick with 21.5 or 17.5?
Let us know what you like to run.

Scale spec was the high light yesterday. It's out ranking stock and mod class in numbers and I can only see it to grow even more.
We have 2 very young drivers, Hayden and Ryder. Thanks to their dads for bringing them out and showing them the roots.
Also not to mention that we had lots of new drivers adding to the scale spec class. Welcome.
Hope to see them again soon.

Attached here today are the results . Please enjoy them . Next race is November 13th back to A which is F1 time again.
See where all soon and pre registration will be announce a day before it opens up. Thanks.

Hi Chrisman
Just my $.02...I am running all motor 21.5 and it got plenty power and speed ..going 17.5 might be too much for some average driver

What a great race day guys! It was hard to understand the difficulty we experienced with the tape? I mean everyone from the newbie to the experienced racers were tearing up tape. I apologize for my damage i was doing and it wasn't until the 3 round i think i kind of rectified the issue. I am sure we are all trying our best and less body issues will happen next race day. I had lots of fun with my fellow racers, excellent day! See you in 2 weeks.

It was a great day of racing.

Next mini meet, my stuff will be tuned better for the track, and I'll find that 3.5 seconds somewhere. I'm coming for you, Chris.

I'd like a spot for Nov 13th if possible. I realize it hasn't been announced yet, but I'd like to get my plans in place if I'm making the trip from Kelowna.

Chris:

Leaving mini with open motor is okay by me. It lets us see just how good the driver is. It also has a nice 'follow the leader' effect where if a person consistently wins with a certain setup, other people will build similar setups, and that becomes the spec for the class.

Default Nov 13th Club race

Hi guys, hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of the weekend.
Yesterday club race was a blast. Thanks to all that made the trip.
As usual our morning crew were on deck to have track setup done before doors were opened for everyone.
Race program also went smoothly with JT, Chucky, Logan and me on the Mic.

We all had a lot of fun and some really close qualifying+mains.
I think Luke.P did a 8.1 fast lap in mod... that's terrifying fast.
Gotta check those race data again.

Race day went smoothly even better than the previous one.
We planned on testing out newer tape than the old duct tape.
It worked out very well. No tearing of the tape.

This had contributed huge to the race program without stopping for track repairs.
I believed also majority of the racers were well aware of body/chassis ride heights and front bodies bumper foam to keep the bodies from tucking down.
All those little things made the day went smoothly. Thank you.

We also had a good early lunch with amble time for some practice and tuning.
It was a surprised for us, we actually finished round one by 11.30 am.
BBQ Pork lunch boxes were brought in for everyone that placed their orders.
Thank you John.T for organizing and looking after all of us.
Sometimes I wondered, if it's the lunch boxes that brought you guys in or the racing. Ha.Ha.

Next club race is Nov 27th. I'll be posting on our Face book page the day and time before pre-registration.
This will give you guys the chance to tell everyone to get ready.
Also next race date, a reminder to all that we will be checking for double vaccines.
You could be refused of entry if you are not double vaccinated.
No further more, attached here are the results from yesterday. Enjoy.

Chris
