Aaron, send me a message with what you want and I'll see what I can get for pricing for you.

Great, another form of crack-for-the-off-season!!!

I threw in another half gig of ram on mine to go up to a full gig, and no problems with the machine, and mine is basically 2 years old now !
I was told today that Future Shop online have a complete P4 2.8 system, with monitor, mouse, keyboard, 80 gig hd and XP on it for $299 !!!
WOW, all you would need is the $60 dollar card on top of that and good to go.

As for my racing, well slipping back a bit, I just can't quite find a setup that lets me run as hard as I want to into the corners, but working on it !!

Talking

memoryexpress.com

You will not beat them on pricing...or parts in stock. All techies go there.

This was not a paid advertisement. Haha.

Memory Express I found were ok, but it depended on who you got !
Barry in PM actually knew more than any of the guys in Memory Express that I spoke to!!! oh, and expect to wait a long time in a queue.
Also, Tiger Direct have some great deals and they send it right to your door.

Stu.. Do you know if the VRC adapter will work in the PS2 USB port??

I like playing GT4 and would love to play with my own radio!

Thanks Rod

Well,
I made the top 10 in the RC Car Action event this past week, you get 10 heats of 5 minutes, best 1 counts, top 20 then get 2 runs of 15 minutes again best 1 counts, then the top 10 go into a 1 shot 30 minute final !
WOW !! I got 114 laps and have to say I was getting bleary eyed after about 70 laps... that is tough going !
Anyway, it was a blast and have signed up for the next one which is later this month, I hope some more of the Canadian racers can enter this time round as I think there was only 4 of us in this round.
Also, if anyone else has it installed, go to the free download section and get 'hamachi' . it's a sort of messenger thing that's lets you play head to head online !! bring it on !!

Just at first try this sucks and is nothing like racing.
the setup for the cars does not seem normal. the view to drive is hard to set and is not like being on the drivers stand i dont think .

If i am doing something wrong please inform me so i can change it and try this again.

yes, you are doing several things wrong.
Don't panic though, it's a little tricky to get into at first, but well worth the effort and your 'real' racing will thank you for it !

SO, first of all, go download a setup.
Look under my profile and download my Oslo 10th scale Serpent touring setup, that works nicely.
Second, go practice and adjust the view, I like far out for close and in a bit closer for far away.
Then lastly, learn the tracks ! that's the most important bit I guess, other than having fun !

Ok i will give that a try. i was a little excited I basicly bought this computor just for this game so it would be a bit annoying for the game not to fun for me

oh don't worry, by this time next week you'll be addicted !!
It just takes some practice, and to be honest I only have the oval down, still struggling to get Oslo right far less any of the other tracks !! I love the oval though, so that's ok !
