Default Ready to Run Raceway 2020 Summer OnRoad Racing - Vancouver RRR

We require all racers, family, attendees present to follow and abide by the guidelines and rules. Failure to do so may result in bylaw fines, and at worst, shut down of the club and race venue.

We are still discussing whether or not we will host a trophy race this summer.
BRING GLOVES FOR SETUP AND TEARDOWN.

There is a lot behind the scenes happening for this to come together. New track pieces are made, similar to last year's "soft bend corners" to help round the sweepers, etc. A lot of club members have stepped up to offer assistance and help in the last few weeks and we really appreciate it and it shows how committed we all are for this to happen. We will have a sanitizing station for hand cleaning throughout the day. Setup and teardown helpers must use gloves.

We have been discussing and debating on what needs to be posted so that all attendees are aware on how to keep clean, and socially distant.
There will be changes with how the race day is run: smaller heats (6-8 max), as drivers stand is maximum 4 people, with bring your own step stools/ladders to add 6ft past the next driver.
Canopies and pit spaces will be 1 person only. Canopies will no longer be touching, and will be spaced out as well. Expect to bring your own tents, tables and chairs as sharing will be breaking the recommended 6ft distancing. Follow instructions in red for further details.

1. READ THE ATTACHED PDF FOR RRR RETURN TO SPORT
2. PRINT, FILL OUT, AND BRING THE PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
3. PRINT, FILL OUT AND BRING THE LIABILITY WAIVER

WITHOUT THE ABOVE, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ON TRACK, OR IN THE PITS. Only need to submit documents once for the remainder of the 2020 season.

Will there be 1/10 FWD class this year and on what motor? Personally prefer 21.5T for any stock spec classes.

While we're waiting for restrictions to be lifted... maybe you need a new chair for your outdoor pit area.... 20 bucks is tough to beat... I know mine was more than double this price...

They have a few chairs around the $20 range:

https://www.princessauto.com/en/sear...ty=1&Ntt=Chair

personally i would choose the massage chair for the track.

Thanks for your continued patience as we work out the logistics of social distancing and safe practices for a race day.

We likely won’t be hosting any race RRR club days in June, but will let you know if that changes.

At the moment our goal is to have test and tune sessions in July. All of the out of town race days have been cancelled.

It is unlikely for us to logistically host a race day as we cannot accommodate more than 4 on the drivers stand while following social distancing. We’re working to do the best we can.

Hope to update you soon!
