What a great time this long weekend!

Weather didn't cooperate early on, but mother nature pulled through and racers came out in full force - 3 heats of 1/10 Nitro each round!

Default Jul 14 Race Results

Hot weather, extra pop, new layout. Everything seemed to come together.
If you missed the race, or didn't see the HUGE speedbump that was put in the middle of our track, we worked with it and it came out great.
There's a few other layouts we have in mind as we hope to smooth out the flow more.

Good turnout - 8 Cars in the Nitro B, 6 cars in GT8, Stock and Scale Spec continue to do well, though we are a little low on electric entries. Touring mod missing a few drivers that went to Seattles ROAR Regionals.

2 weeks until the next club race
3 weeks until the trophy race

Please preregister for the trophy race if you have not

Default July 28 Race Results

- Friday Setup, Saturday Setup
BIG Thank you to the Friday setup crew: Eddie, Terry, Chuck, Stephen Wilke, Bok Choi, Stephen Yoshida
We do our best to share the lot with the film crew, and we have been wanting to try the west side of the lot for a little while - it worked out great, just need to work with the pole and drivers stand. We continue to appreciate you helping finalize track setup, pop spraying, and early arrivals to get the day going.

- Marshaling
Most people made an effort for marshaling, it was well received, and definitely will be a necessity next weekend. Once again, if you are back to back, please have a volunteer substitute during the trophy race. We do not want to ask you to step down from the drivers stand to marshal, but it will be done if needed.

- Patience and good racing
Main Heats: 11 cars in touring stock, 9 cars in scale spec, 10 cars in nitro and we all seemed to get a long as best as possible.. I saw lots of clean driving efforts and respect on track, good show. There's lots of triple mains next week so get ready

-Racing Highlights
Stephen Wilke joins the rest of us in the Nitro realm
Basil TQ's GT8
Bok Choi forgets Nitro cars need to be charged
Tiny dominates in Stock, Terry jumps into 2nd, Cug gets 3rd with a borrowed radio
Franko runs a Scale Spec clinic, Gary Bennett finishes all his qualifiers
Alex Pate delays a race by 5 minutes, to break after 3 laps
I get beat by a Serpent in Nitro Qualifying
Nitro mains are tighter and cleaner racing than ever

- Teardown
We could always use more helpers, pit teardown can wait until the track is done - too much of a delay in starting teardown, lets work on that. Lots of helpers stay till the end, so thank you guys for putting in the work!
