2018 Western Off-road Racing Series
Hello racers, welcome to the 2018 Western Off-road Racing Series.
This series was formed to allow off-road racers from all over the Western Canada area to come together to compete in events throughout the summer at different tracks. This also gives racers an incentive to travel to tracks where they may never have known about or commitment to go. Additionally our hope is to grow the awareness of the RC racing community in Western Canada to help increase all clubs future members. We would like to thank the participating clubs for their commitment to the 2018 race series and look forward to the future of this exciting hobby.
We are pleased to announce a 5th nitro event at RC Gears in Calgary Alberta. This allows all classes to run a 4 out of 5 points series. The Calgary weekend will be the nitro points championship.

Nitro and Electric
Round #1: Big Barn Shootout, Chilliwack Heritage Park (indoor nitro and electric)
April 6,7,8
Round #2: Spring Scorcher Shootout, KRC, Kelowna BC (electric only)
May 25,26,27
Round #3: Summer Classic, TVR/C, Kamloops BC (nitro and electric)
June 22,23,24
Round #4: Race the Rock Island Classic, NRC, Nanaimo BC (nitro and electric)
July 20,21,22
Round #5: Coquitlam Classic, Camrc, Coquitlam BC (nitro and electric)
Aug. 10,11,12 Electric Championship
Round #6: The Wild West Weekend, RC Gears, Calgary Ab (nitro and electric)
Sept. 7,8,9 Nitro Championship
There will be more information added soon including series sponsors/ event sponsors, race track locations, local accommodations, fees etc.
