Anyone know of any rumors, half-truths or hearsay regarding the next Fred Tech event?

I'm not really "in the loop" with the FredTech Races at the Tamiya track -- who is Fred?

Who would or does one talk to about holding an event (renting the track, or?) for an open to the public event.

You would contact Fred Medel of Tamiya USA. When Bill and I held the Tuning Haus races at Tamiya, that is who we arranged the track rental with.

With the IIC, the Fresno race, the Gens Ace race at TQ and the Arizona race all this month, I doubt that a Fred Tech race will happen until sometime in November:{

Cool Club race at Tamiya Raceway?

Mark,
Last time I talked to Fred he said sometime in November, so we will see if he is motivated enough to do a club race, and hopefully a day of practice the week before would be good!

A significant number of leading Mental Health Providers have written volumes on the subject of waiting and how it relates to the overall well-being and spending habits of populations. It's interesting:

-occupied time ALWAYS seems shorter than unoccupied time.

-people WANT to get started on something they love.

-anxiety makes waiting SEEM longer

-uncertain waits are LONGER than explained waits (knowledge is power)

-unexplained waits ALWAYS seem longer than explained waits. -- behavior extinction then sets in, and people will go somewhere else.

These are some of the concepts that billion dollar fortune 500 companies use on the street level to maintain their market share.

hmm... maybe thats why they are fortune 500 companies.

(hint, hint)
