Exactly. You don't need 30 minute mains two 5 minute qualifier's and a 7 minute main. Secondly, limit it to 1/10 scale only. The track isn't big enough for 1/8 and 1/5 scale.

Any special races coming up at the Roadrunners track? I cannot seem to find a calendar of events on the web site. I know 1st/3rd Sundays are off-road and 2nd/4th are on road. Is there a BFTR for on road and a Golden State off-road this year? If so what are the dates?
Getting tired of the Nitro/Electric on road whining. If you run Nitro bring it. I believe 5 cars make a race. If you run electric bring it. I believe 5 cars make a race.
I for one will not marshal Nitro.

Hello all. Hope all has been well for everyone. Haven't seen a track since September. Seems like we can finally get to go back to Cam and get to see everyone again. Can't wait to get back and a get a double treat. To hit the track and a new larger one at that.

Not my opinion, I haven't been there, just repeating what I've heard from a select few to add to the conversation. I recall back in the day at Revelations (electric version), gas marshaled gas, electric marshaled electric. Of course you'd need more than one heat of gas guys.
I never thought of it from that perspective but can now understand why electric racers wouldn't want to marshal for nitro. In the past, I would of called it laziness but with some of my recent set backs I may not be able to stand at times for 20-30 even if I wanted too.

If nitro were to be included, 8-10 mains sounds like a viable option for marshalling and I wouldn't have issues with that. Anything longer wound be yet to be determined until I'm standing there depending on how I feel.

I say bring them on. The more, the merrier!

Is the calendar on https://www.roadrunnersrc.com/ not visible on some devices or something? You might have to use the yellow buttons to change the months but there are a number of events, JBRL and Golden State for offroad, CTS and BFTR for onroad so far.

I believe we are going with the USVTA F1 rules on this and using 25.5t as a standard.

Does anyone know if the new asphalt at the Camarillo on road track has had a seal coat put down because it sure does not look like it.

the track will not be sealed for the near future, likely 1-3 years as required. The old asphalt wasn't cut out so we don't really have an unstable or porous substrate so I'd expect it to last quite a while. If you noticed, the last coat of sealer was good for maybe 2 months and then gradually just turned into a skating rink.

Yes we will. Unfortunately that is not the way to go about it. Should have
been sealed. Good Luck racing on Sun.

Brian, I for one appreciate all your efforts, dedication, and hard work spent into making a better place for us to race. I believe you did your homework and made a conscious decision. You have my vote. Hope to get to the track in a few hours.
