Still no racing this weekend, Cal Fire has the place pretty well secured and we are roughly 75% done on the offroad rebuild so some work and more importantly water needs to get into the track before we can use it.

Good news, Cal Fire is moving out of Freedom Park so racing is on this weekend! We should be on for Saturday practice as usual, perhaps a bit later start if we have to do much washing of the track so count on 11-12 or so.

Planning to run an on road race. Can you confirm what motor is being used for 1/12 racing, I am getting mixed information.
Website says 1/12 is 17.5 motor with Blinky and open tires. I'm reading on this forum that 1/12 is being ran with 13.5 motor.
Can someone please give me the accurate information.

Thank you

Hope I am not asking too much. I was hoping to get some info on running 1/12 at your track. I know you run 13.5, and have read some combination on the pinion, spur gears and tire height (46 mm). I tried that combination and have the ride height quite high. What would be a good starting point for the ride height. Any help is appreciated.

I know most are between 3mm - 5mm. I think 4mm is probably ideal for our track. I personally start mine at 5mm and run it down to about 3.5mm.
