Unfortunately I am not Fran so I can't modify the very first post. rctech is kind of an aging medium for us although he mentions visiting our website www.roadrunnersrc.com which does have a calendar on the front page.

Our facebook club page is below, with all of the past club racing events.

https://www.facebook.com/pg/RoadrunnersRcClub/events/

This one is slightly more useful since the general public can post to it (b/s/t among other things)

https://www.facebook.com/groups/2033805740242048/

There is an onroad recurring event for 2nd and 4th sundays in this group that isn't on the main page that mirrors the google/website calendar. Basically I'm trying to say there's 10 places to update when it's 2nd and 4th sundays as the really old faded signs at the track say. They did remark oval out at some point though so we don't have that on the schedule. We run offroad on 1st and 3rd sundays if you're into that kind of thing. This group became more popular than having it on the actual club group for some reason so it seemed redundant to have events on our FB calendars twice.

You could make a Wiki that would appear at the top of each page.

For the sake of someone who wants one place to look... which platform is the one most likely to be up to date and accurate? Also 2nd and 4th Sundays isn't really a given, for whatever reason it may change or be canceled hence the reason to have one place to see what the status may be of a potential race day. Just trying to have an accurate "go to" place to check for race dates. At the same time it could help you guys with having to answer "is there on-road/off-road racing this weekend?" posts every week without board members having to answer because its posted, hopefully making things easier for you guys.

Thanks Capt. Obvious... been racing there since 1992. I don't think you're grasping the concept.

The RR website has the most accurate calendar. All other events are created from this calendar.

Thank you Roadrunners for another fun day at the track. Good as always to see everyone. Hoping to do it all over again in two weeks.

P.S. - is anyone planning to camp out at the track for the BFTR?

Thanks.

I believe I only have Kamali with a 40', he wanted me to ask for your standard spot because he needs 2 spaces plus the 3rd in front of it. I don't see any of the other standard RV guys but people always surprise me at the last minute

That spot takes 3 spaces. All RVs park every other space thus using two spaces to park and two for pit or patio space (or whatever is desired). It has been done that way from the first race.

For the regular off-road club days, what is the recommended tire for 2wd and 4wd buggy?

I assume the track isn't sugared every time, like at the Golden State race...

Thanks in advance!
