witch one would you like to start?
So here is the situation:

The good news - I got a new Cargo Van which is used for party decorator plus music "Dj-Marvin" as well for mobile RC Track. Also got the permit to run RC Racing on Sundays with easy access to use restroom and food; best of all, the Hobby Store is there as well.

The bad news - The selected spot for the RC Track was resurfaced with new asphalt, but the contractor was not instructed to level it with the old asphalt, so a wide and long island was left in the middle of the parking lot. I did some testing by running my TC Sedan; honestly, I didn't like the results. Few time my RC was airborne due to the bump and got some bad scratches on the bottom of the chassis. Also, I was told that I am not allowed to spray the traction solution on the asphalt.

I not happy about these challenges.
Tell me what you think about these issues?

Can you post a pic of the uneven surface? Just trying to better understand the problem. What’s the height difference? Could different lay outs go around the problem?

This new asphalt is on the middle of the of the parking lot and it's about 85% long. sometimes pictures can say a lot more than words and this is no exception. Yes, we can go around it, but that will limit the number of layouts. Would you run your $500+ chassis on a surface like this one ?

Looks like your only option.

Let's race so pick a spot and do it. I'm in no matter where you pick to go.

Been waiting years for this to happen. Clearly, it's not going too. Too many excuses.

How about we turn this lemon into a big glass of lemonade and make some jumps and other obstacles and race SCT, Rally Cars, Mini B/T's, 1/10th scale 2wd and 4wd buggy at this location? Carpet off road and high traction dirt off road tracks seem to be the rage at the moment, so why not start an off road program on asphalt?

So is this program dead? Is there not another parking lot in SFV that we can race at? How about Los Angeles Valley College, has anyone reached out to them to see if they'd allow races in their empty parking lots on the weekend? I know this is your thread to promote your program and I'm not trying to start shit Marvin and I know you've had things to sort out, but a lot of us want to race and your program hasn't returned post Covid, so what's going on? Do you need help with anything? I've seen other folks in SFV talk about starting up another program, at least one has stated they have a spot, what's the holdup? Is it political? I get not wanting to step on anyone's toes, but there are currently no toes to step on. It's really too bad we couldn't all unite to try and get a permanent facility at Sepulveda Basin.
