I couldn't be a happier camper seeing Vettel take the championship lead but those last few laps I was on the edge of my sofa freaking out about radio communications on tires about to go... I was picturing 2 laps till the end and his front tires completely loosing all grip and his car pushing off track into the sand...

And as it turns out what a great race for Hamilton with a broken rear sway bar from lap 18... moving to Mercedes is such a bad career move... whats he going to do, drive three years for them in the middle of the pack ? His celebrity status will soon fade away when he's not running at the top...

I agree with Mark, they like to heat up the otherwise pretty boring 9 seconds lead he had over Weber for more than half the race.

I admire Sebastian because he seems to muck such marketing crap. Did you notice he actually went faster each time they radio him?
(camera close up at victory lane showed his tires in good condition )

Now Lewis Hamilton deal will pocket him an extra 3 million pounds per season. As for the marketing (fame) he now is represented by a firm that does Rock and Roll, movie and TV mega stars... etc.

So just wait for the machine to start rolling it's wheels, expect anything from Hamilton fragrances to underwear (oh baby! )

Mercedes won't give him the fast car, but maybe he only wants to be in the store window (Hollywood style? Let's ask Niecole )

Padtahi? Yumy!

Dave Bergers observation:

5 winners in 7 races, will there be a 6th ?

1. T.Phalen >WAC
2. R.Howhart >Shanghai
3. T.Tam >Japan
4. T.Phalen >Cam Marino
5. T.Phalen/T.Tam >COA
6. A.Lane >Monte Carlo
7. D.Berger >Caltalunya
8 >Korea?

I hope we get some winter team drivers this Saturday... Ron, Lee who else ? There are no point spoilers...

I heard they are neighbors of Sean's.

Lightfoot - Team Benetton Ford will make at least a partial team appearance. A prior commitment with the BBC may prevent both drivers from showing. Rumor has they will drive their 2012 spec cars but will have one of the new cars out for the 2012/2013 "launch".
