Hi Gang,

I was going through my camera and realized I recorded the final UF1 race meet so I'll share it here.

It's been a real pleasure racing with you gentleman these past few years in UF1. Looking forward to continue racing with you all at future f1 events

Thanks for the invite Bill! I was not aware of the Tamiya event. I will certainly see if I can do this. Only issue is I fly back in from vacation, jet lagged and sunburned, the night before

Hey Bill,

how often are you going to be doing these races over the summer? Or is it a one time thing to see how the turnout is?

I'd love to come the 13th but made plans before the race was announced and will be out of town that weekend... I will definitely be planning my weekends around these races once a schedule is set up for the next one

Hi Aaron, sorry you can not make the June 13th race with us. We are hoping to have 1-2 more "Summer Haus Parties" this year before returning to carpet for the 2015-2016 Tuning Haus Winter Series. Any updates or announcements will be made on the SoCal Scale Series by Tuning Haus thread so please check regularly for announcements.

Come on Mike, man up and make the race. I remember flying in on a Saturday evening from China and racing a TCS race on Sunday. I think I sucked but was too tired to remember but still had fun. At least that is what they told me. Hope you can join us. As one of the original UF1 stalwarts and a pretty darn good F1 pilot, it will be good to have you competing with us

My use of the thread tools is not up to par. I copied the above post from the Roadrunners thread. I know Bill raced with alot of you guys and I just wanted to make sure those who wanted to attend, knew what was being done by his family. The Rincon Beach is off Bates Rd just before you get in to Carpenteria.

To celebrate our 3rd anniversary as the most read RC F1 website we've added a lot of new content and updated many of the most popular pages.

www.rcformula1.com.au

Thanks to all of our readers who have sent in positive feedback on the update.

Another F1 racer showed me a link that shows 2015/2016 UF1 rules. Am I wrong that the UF1 ceased operations in late 2014 (some time around December)?
Just curious.

UF1 in So Cal ended in early 2014. Sadly, the entries dwindled and the series out here came to an end. Bill Jeric of Tuning Haus and I over many drinks (not beer) decided to try to get F1 going again in So Cal and Started the So Cal RC Scale Series which runs F1 and GT Sedan. We have slowly gotten the F1 entries back up to a consistent 15 racers and hoping to hit 20 by the last race in March. The switch to 25.5 motors has helped to bring more Sportsman racers back to F1. There may be other areas around the US that still have a UF1 F1 series running.
