Oh yeah, with the help of Tim, I built a Pit Stop Timer for the UF1 Midwest Series to use....

I'm a 12th scale racer, and prefer foams
Although I do dable in a bit of F1 from time to time

That was just a tiny can of spray

Right on with the Pit Stop timer

I will vouch for Ned, he is a good guy, and he likes the scale realism.
We haven't adopted the rug in the Midwest, but we might have to look into it, there were a few minor mishaps at the Toledo round. Love the UF1 rules as they sit, obviously everything can grow and develop, but I don't see the need for a lot of change. The Midwest scene is growing leaps and bounds. We could see 3 new tracks added for the next indoor season

The rug thing looked to be more as a safety bumper for the pit marshal from what I see as an UF1 racer .I've come into the pit hot slammed into the rug bounced back and away from the marshal's reach and lost valuable time correcting.Since then,I've learned to stay calm approach the pit at reduced speed, and have received a "thank you" from the marshal as I've pitted. It's a learning curve IMHO.As UF1 racers become more seasoned, the pit approach will improve.Good luck with your program. F1 Rocks!

I sure hope so. Gonna suck if all they give us is abbreviated race day coverage.

Does anyone plan on running the new softer grey rim Pardus tires in your summer series? I'm currious to see how they compare to the 571/572 combo that is so popular.

Default 2013 Formula 1 Coverage

Per NBC:

"All practices and qualifying sessions will be on cable NBC Sports Network in what's expected to total more than 100 hours of annual programming. All 20 races will be live streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, the NBC Sports Group’s live-stream platform that is available online at NBCSports.com as well as on mobile and tablet apps."

Nice interview as well with Lee, was a fun read! If I was unaware of UF1 I would have thought it was full scale racing!! Great job!
