there is and there isn't. the brakes are there - just enough to adjust your speed entering corners but not enough to do a panic stop. for pit stops you don't have to rely on brakes. there's a rolled up rug that you drive into and the pit boss will catch your car. the pit duration varies depending on the track layout. i don't know how they calculate it but i imagine it's a percentage of a typical lap time on that particular layout. check the video i posted above. skip past the 5 min mark and you'll see cars pitting.

Thanks so much! That is very informative. Being new to the UF1 stuff I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Default Spirit of the Rules?????

[QUOTE [ there's a rolled up rug that you drive into QUOTE]

ROAR has a rule for gas cars that they have to have brakes. Interesting in a series that is supposed to be more 1:1 scale-like, you run into a rug to stop!!!

Just because a car has brakes does not mean people use them. Plus, gas cars are closed wheel cars, have large bumpers to protect them and also are provided with a drive-through pit lane. You can obviously see the difference here.
