2014 Offroad Sunday Series
The Sunday series will start the 1st Sunday of March 2014. It will be an 6 race series with 1 throw out race. Classes offered on Sundays will be Run-What-You-Brung, 2wd Stock SCT 17.5 motor(blinky), 2wd Mod SCT, , 4wd SCT Sportsman, 4wd SCT Intermediate (fast guys), 1/10 scale 2wd Stock Buggy 17.5(blinky), 1/10 scale 2wd Mod Buggy, 2wd Mod Stadium Truck, 1/10 scale 4wd Mod Buggy. Each class must have at least 5 entries to race. Classes will need to race at least 4 times to be qualified for awards. Drivers must race at least 4 times to be qualified for awards. Drivers must run at least 1 qualifier to receive points for that race day. Racing will start at 9:45am, with sign-ups closing at 9:30am. if you can't make the sign-up closing time, please call Cindy (805)407-9552 and give her your entry and you can pay when you get there. if you don't call or miss sign-ups, you might not get to race that day. Having to do late entries slows down the race program. Race #1 March 2, 2014 Sign-ups close at 9:30am, Racing starts at 9:45am. Classes offered on Sundays will be Novice 17.5 TC (blinky), Sportsman 17.5 TC (blinky), Intermediate 17.5 TC (blinky), Super Stock 13.5 TC (blinky), Open TC, Mini Cooper (21.5 brushless), F1 Rubber, Nastruck 17.5 (blinky), 1/10 Scale Pan car, USVTA and RCGT 17.5 (blinky). Each class must have at least 5 entries to race. Classes will need to race at least 4 times to be qualified for awards. Drivers must race at least 4 times to be qualified for awards. Drivers must run at least 1 qualifier to receive points for that race day. We made it!!!! In 2004 a simple phone call to the USMC Toys for Tots started what is the biggest and the longest running SoCal Offroad Toys 4 Tots event. This year we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary of this great event. This event each year brings in more Toys and Donation money than any other single day event in the area. We are pleased that each year Racers from all over SoCal, AZ, Nevada, and the World turn out for this event. Palm Desert R/C Raceway will once again be the host on the first Saturday as it has been since the start. So MARK your Calendars December 6th 2014 and celebrate 10 years of TOYS 4 TOTS. ROAR insurance required. Hope all will help us support tft, toys donated to L.A. Fire department toy drive |
