Hello Everyone! Here is this years 21st Annual Toys 4 Tots Flier! We will have Practice on Sat Dec 5th and Racing Dec 6th! I want to push the FIRST TIME ROOKIE class this year for Touring Car featuring a plastic tub chassis only with motor. The Kyosho Faser is a great chassis for this. Other chassis like the Tamiya TT02 chassis is also a great choice! We also want to push the Mini 4wd class again(GT12). Hope to see everyone there!

Our 2021 Velo season is almost upon us --- so come check us out.

1/10th scale racing - classes include basic cars like the TRAXXAS Bandit 2wd buggies being run with "Street Stock Bodies" , 2wd Traxxas Slashes with Dirt Modified style bodies, to modified Oval Pan Cars that was light weight and FAST on the 826 ft High Banked Concrete Oval track (Original home of the 1980's RCThunderdrome races)

Schedule:
•April 16-17
•June 3-4 (WORLDROME V)
•July 16-17 - this will be a HOT one.
•Sept. 3-4 -
•Nov. 26-27 our 6th Annual "THANKSGIVING THROWDOWN" bring some turkey and stuffing!!

The Fastest R/C Oval in the U.S. is at the Encino Velodrome just North of Los Angeles in Encino CA.

1/10th Scale R/C Oval Racing

The 252 meter (826 ft) high banked concrete track that is the Orignal Home of the 1980s RCThunderdrome has been out SPEED CENTER for over 30 years.

For the past 5 years, since our return after a few years away from the VELO, we've had a pretty good following of OLD and NEW oval racers.

Our annual WORLDROME turns 5 this year. (sadly the thing that makes is WORLDROME is our friends from Japan coming to race with us, and for the 2nd year in a row, they can't make the trip this year)

But, the race will go on, and we'll have some great times, fun racing, & see some speed too.

Entries will open this evening at 6:00p.m. Pacific time / 9:00p.m. Eastern time for the 2021 ROAR U.S. National Championships at Steel City R/C Speedway. Pass the word on to your friends!

Classes included in this years ROAR U.S. National Championships are:
1:8 Open
1:8 Masters (45 and older)
1:8 GT ROAR Spec
1:10 200mm Sedan
1:5 STC

Entries are limited per class so do not hesitate to sign up.

Track will be CLOSED August 7-10 and reopen for practice Wednesday August 11, 2021. Practice fee for Wednesday is $20.00 per driver paid to Steel City RC Speedway.

We look forward to seeing everyone August 11-15, 2021 for the 2021 ROAR U.S. National Championships.

The Ron Paris Memorial Race is coming up soon November 11-14, 2021.
Thursday practice is included in your entry fee.
Drivers practicing Thursday that are not pre-registered must sign up for the race prior to running on the track.
Anyone entering Steel City R/C Speedway will be required to sign the ISC release daily and will wear a colored "wristband" every day in plan site while you are within our facility.
The $200.00 flat rate overnight camping fee is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights only.
