With the track expansion this should bring out a lot more modified cars, right Mike?

Since we're going into new real estate we're going to need to prep the track so it'll be ready for Event #3, September 1st. Might as well hold a practice session!! (The timing loop will not be in place)

Practice fee will be $5

Time: 10:30am - 12:30

I don't get it. Why is it the people that run 17.5 boosted don't just run modified? The motor and esc run way cooler, you don't have to find that one magic motor and super high c battery, and you don't have to program all that timing stuff into the esc with modified.
I really want to come out and play but having to invest $300.00 into a timing esc and a 17.5 is hard to digest.
With modified being cheaper and easier, why is it people won't run it?

After the series we will be changing 17.5 open to just an OPEN/Mod class, for those who want to drive fast

Yeah, I never understood the boost thing either. Poor man's speed I guess.

Don't think it's gonna be a big deal. The boosted guys can run with the mod guys. I highly doubt that boosted guys are going to turn faster lap times with a mod motor with the exception of a few racers. Blinky guys were turning faster lap times than the boosted guys the last two races. So it's really a non factor. Those racers probably already have a mod motor or they are die hard racers that another motor is not going to kill their budget.
