OCRC Dirt Oval Anyone?
Recently OCRC has built a 60 x 35 mini off road track next to our large track
I has come to my attention that maybe if we get enough interest we can make it a dirt oval for some racing...
I would like to see if there is in fact any interest in running oval
I don't know anybody who does or if there may be some kind of
Dirt Oval club out there that may be interested...
If so, let me know
Thanks

That would be pretty cool...especially if it had slight banking. It's pretty big in the midwest. Worth a shot!

I only have my SCT at the moment but I would love to try it sometime. Maybe run an oval in between other track layouts sometime.

Oh I would be so down Dirt Oval, shoot even Jeremy Kortz might come down he's a former DO champ. If it was 1/8th the we use the Ultra D.O. elec. I'm sure Losi would love your for that.

I've never been an off road guy but i do love me some dirt oval! I used to have the original RC10 gold tub converted to the RCRC Sprint car. It was super bad ass!!! Unfortunately, I was too young to know anything about setting it up properly, but its the only car i wish i never sold. If you guys get it going, I'd definitely be interested!

How are the classes configured for dirt oval? Are all cars/trucks eligible to race?

Dirt oval is a whole other world. The closest dirt oval is at Racers Haven in Bakersfield, I think there is another in Ridgecrest. I think there is a 1/4 scale dirt oval at milestone.
Elec. Classes,
Sprint
Late model
4WD Late model
Truck
1/8 late model
I think some places are starting to run a short course class, the 1/8th late model bodies fit sc trucks.
of course stock and mod versions of each class.
There is lots of info out there. There is more to it than a "losi slider"
