JBRL ELECTRIC OFFROAD RACING SERIES
#601
Just an FYI guys....
We had 260 entries round 2 and had plenty of pit space
If you would like to bring a table and set up we have left the small track flat so you can pit on it for the upcoming round 7
See you all on Saturday!

Sure everyone wants to win but the turnout for some of these races were 75% or more will not even make the show are showing it is not going hurting turnout if limited classes are offered. People sign up for what is offered and do there best. I think that is the point. Get back to the old days where we had a Cactus with 70+ in the mod class. The finals of the Short course showdown are saying 120+ in the Pro-4 class alone.
I have to agree I feel the speeds of boosted stock are out of hand. Might as well run a mild mod. Last time I ran boosted stock I was within 3-5 seconds of the top mod guys for the night. Not slow mod guys either. Some of the top stock guys at Surf city were well on pace with Mod. Being a long time stock racer and loving the class I tend to agree it is time for the SS guys to just move on up to mod and put stock back to slower NT speeds. Still plenty of power to get around the track and have some good races. Something to think about.

One last reminder to anyone that has an SCB. Bring it out to the JBRL for some NT exhibition racing! Should be a blast.
Also there is lots of pit space at OCRC but the mini track has been flattened for those that want to setup there own pit area. Pitting in the back parking lot is allowed as well for those looking for a little more space!
