I haven't run the 12th scale in over 6 months but I'm trying to get mine ready for IIC. I just ordered a new battery and it should be here in time to run Sunday.

I am just getting into 1/12 and I know many ESC's need a receiver pack or booster to run 1c. But I saw this and I just want to make sure I am understanding what it says "No receiver battery with 1S LiPo needed.". Is this really true? Would it be a good choice?

Looks like it will do the job!!! Say's it was used at the recent worlds 1/12 scale race and you don't need another battery source or booster---must be built in!! GO FOR IT!~!!

I have been testing the LRP SXXSS lately, no booster needed.
It keeps up with the Tekins too.

Hey Dave,

With the SXX models do you still need a lipo booster? I read that you dont need a receiver pack so I assume this goes for a booster too.

What do you think of the LRP compared to the Tekin?

This is the one I have been playing with Jeff

If I had to pick only one speedo it would still be the Tekin RS, as it has the most options and adjustments.

But the LRP is a nice option if you don't want to deal with pc car tuning.

With the new LRP's coming out, you can find some deals these.

* Dual ADPCmax Software: Independent adjustment of „Feel“ and „Boost“ for maximum flexibility and highest power.
* TwinBEC: A true BEC revolution! Constant 6V/3A output with 3.0V to 7.4V batteries. No need for receiver battery for 1S or 4 cells.
* Revolutionary Internal Temp Check System 3: Allows you to read out the maximum internal temperature for each the speedo and motor.
* AutoCell System 2 (3.0V to 7.4V input voltage): Fully adjustable cut off system for all types of cells.
* Extra small size: 30x34x21mm for easy installation in all vehicles.
* C3 Technology: Revolutionary Copper Core Cooling technology for lowest running temperature.

Cool,

Are you going to make it to Cam this Sunday? We had a full heat of F1 foam and 12th scale last week.

Should be fun.

What is the body of choice (for 17.5) at TQ Racing?
