Raff,

I would do whatever is best for your schedule. As you can see there are alot of tracks locally and the turnouts for each tracks are small.

The only track I see who get a good onroad turnout is Camarillo and thats because that is the only onroad track in that area and they race every other week.

That means if a driver wants to run at BC he/she has to hustle over to BC, factor in traffic, factor in that he/she will more than likely not be able to practice, don't forget having to unload their gear and FIND a place to setup. So as I said before it splits the racers, cause it will be EXTREMELY difficult to try and support both tracks on the same day which means he/she has to choose only 1 track. I like both tracks and want to support both but with Sat. night racing now I have to choose 1?!?!?! That's NO BUENO gents!!!!
My Vote Is For # 1

Sunday is the best option. Can we all agree Saturday Night Racing would be nice but in reality the schedule would leave racers a choice between WCRC and BCR. As stated above the logistics of both are not possible. What if WCRC actually had a decent 7 heat tunout racing would go closer to 6:00. By scheduling Saturday we would be betting against ourselves that the WCRC turnout will never grow beyond 5 heats. I would like to run BCR but there is no chance I am racing Saturday from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 PM. Come on guys reconsider for the good of both tracks.

I get the distict feeling I will be selling all of my RC Stuff for the 3rd time in 5 years when the racing facilities begin to dissapear.

I think it's fine if WCRC gets enough racers to run long--THEN you worry about it. It's putting the cart before the horse to say it gonna happen now.
I love WCRC--but there's no reason in todays current situation not to race Sat nights after the daytime racing is done. It's not going to hurt either raceway--in fact--it may help BOTH grow.
FWIW
I like Saturday night--I"m not going to make ALL Sat's anyway---people can't race EVERY week--they'll pick and choose which weekend they can make.

I'll be racing more again by summer and would also like to support both tracks and race all weekend so I'm voting for 1

How about option #3

1st and 3rd Saturday nights

2nd & 4th Sundays

You will get the both Sat and Sun racers and the iron men doing the double header from Saturdays at West Coast.

This will also allow some of us who race other scales to come out and play off of our normal schedules.

Just a thought.....

Now that might make the best suggestion---You won't leave anyone off the page that way. I don't think everyone races EVERY weekend anyway. This way, The support will get a chance to race at both places.

Hewitt - working out some details with the schedule and still evaluating what would be the best racing/practice days to achieve the best outcome for "YOU" the racer.
