You realize 3 turns in isn't the start of the race track right. Besides tracks should be challenging, there should be a mix of elements in the layout, fast and slow. All corners shouldn't just be wide open The goal should be to learn through trial and error how to go fast with what you are presented, not change the game cause part of it is difficult. We learn through adversity!

Yea, but that was race 3 and this is race 4. Its not like there was a track rule change pre race/weekend. Its not uncommon in real life races a layout is altered due to space issues. It happens to all motorsports. Plus a little change is honestly no biggie for a new race as you still got 2 weeks to practice for a new track. And of all, it would actually be cooler to have 10 diffireny layouts a season rather than 5.

I'm all for different layouts, for me it's about the challenge. What I don't agree with is changing due to someone calling foul cause the layout is perceived as difficult.

Not the first time a layout has been altered, probably not the last. How about we appreciate having a good carpet surface to race on that is local ? I have friends on the East Coast whose “local track” is a three plus hour drive one-way. Now, back to our regularly scheduled racing program.

I thought the round 3 layout was easy and fun, but it was pretty narrow in that area. And usually, its good to have the track 8-6 ft wide and that was a corner that was like 4-5 ft wide

I thought the layout was tight and while practicing on it I thought it was really tight but it raced well. I never saw a problem all day long as it was the same for everyone but oh well its still the same for everyone..
I do feel however that the track layouts are stale and unimaginative. I know the restrictions with the stand right on top of the track with site lines but we could change direction or something..The old Ozite carpet had long fibers that made direction changes much more difficult getting it to lay right but now with the black carpet thats not the case and i say change it up...unfortunately with only 4 lanes deep there is only so much you can do I guess.
