ROAR Region 12, 1/10th Electric On Road Championships

1 Attachment(s)
Roadrunners RC Club is proud announce we will be hosting the
ROAR Region 12, 1/10th Scale Electric On Road Championships.

April 24 - 25 2010

Okay Racers. The race flyer is attached. There are a couple of key things to note about this race.

Practice before the event:
More details about this schedule will be posted a progress happens.

Event Schedule:
4-24, we will run (2) qualifiers. The original schedule was to run (3) rounds of qualifiers on Saturday. The change was made so that folks could get more stick time on Saturday. The racing will start at 10:00, this way there will much more time for controlled practice before we start. If time allows, we will also run controlled practice following the (2) qualifiers.

4-25, Program starts at 10:00, one more round of qualifying and the main events. We will be running bump ups in all classes.

ROAR membership:
It is required. You have 2 options, first is to obtain a yearly membership with ROAR, the second is to buy an event ROAR pass on the day of the event. I recommend getting the yearly because it is only a few bucks more for an entire year. I you plan on attending more than 1 ROAR event in a year, it will just about pay for itself. You can get a membership on line and it is very simple to do. Just visit http://www.roarracing.com/ to get started.

Sign Ups:
Pre sign ups will only be accepted until 04/19. If you sign up the day of the event, there will be a 10.00 late fee charged.

Personal Transponders:
You must have a personal transponder to participate in this event.

LIPO Charging:
All charging of LIPO batteries at this event will need to be charged in a LIPO charging bag.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM or email me.
Thanks and looking forward to a great event.

The race date has changed. As to not interfere with RCX, the Roadrunners decided to change the race date.

The flyer will be updated soon. The new date is....

April 24 and 24 2010.

Thanks
Steve

No, we're going to have so much fun on the 24th that we plan on rolling back the clock and doing it all over again. Just another way the Roadrunners provide added value. We can control the weather too.

Yes, Paco, it's the 24th and 25th.
