This is what I'm talking about

Looks like were going to have to make a slight adjustment to the 2012 rules to allow this chassis to run... But it won't negate the purpose of the rules... 190mm will be the maximum width for the F1 class... it's pretty easy to widen a 104 or a F10 to 190mm if you want... This will still keep the higher performing 103 in the LM class...
It will be interesting to see how this car competes with the direct drive chassis... My personal feeling is it wont keep up, and at best it will be equal... But it's definitely going in the right direction to "Scale"
I can't wait to hold one up close....

those of you that run in the open class for UF1 are most running foam tires? i know its a bit of a dumb question as foam has a deff advantage. I only ask because i can get an awesome deal on a f109(Ive owned one before) which would only be legal for the open class and I actually kinda like the feel of the car on rubber but remember it being a bit faster on foam.... and help?

Yeh you know I'll be runnin foam on Saturday but the future of F103/200mm foam is all but doomed unless a few of us keep in touch and get em out with some good planning.
There won't be any more F1 Open class at the UF1 races due to lack of participation, the heavy majority was in favor of the Realistic 180mm class.
However there will be the LeMans bodied class for the 200mm chassis on rubber at the UF1 Winter Series on a bi weekly basis at TQ.

Is the F109 over 180mm?
