Looking into trying out some 8th onroad racing. Haven't purchased a car yet but would like to checkout the track on a race/practice day.
When is the next event happening? I don't see an updated calendar just yet on the website.

I'm pretty sure it will be posted soon. Glenn said a couple weeks ago that it would be posted in Dec. Welcome!

I'm considering getting into onroad and racing with you all.
8th scale nitro and 5th scale is what I'm considering.
I do wonder though, what is tire/engine life looking like on this parking lot type track?
Also, which engines for 8th scale are good? I dont need the super high end engines, would rather have something decent and reliable than super high end and finicky engines at least to start off with.
Seriously considering that serpent 977 wc car.

I would suggest picking up a Picco engine from kevcoracing.com. They have great prices and Piccos are super easy to break in and tune from my experience.

Attached is the tentative schedule I have so for the 2014 racing season. It is subject to some tweaks but the last time I spoke to Glenn this is where we were at. If implemented, the club race points series would be all 13 club races between the dates noted with 4 or 5 throw outs. Looking forward to another great season of racing.

Hi Brad,
The Airtronics race should be on the first race weekend of March. Is it ok to make that change?
Thanks!!

How will electric 10th touring cars do at this track? with a lower wind motor at least so traffic isn't held up too bad..
