Hey I finally won a race! Lamar, we're going to battle out there. With grip that high and consistent, we're going to be able to race each other and not the track. I need to get a servo in the car that will actually center itself and we both just need to clean up our driving a bit and it'll be dialed.

Thanks to Ray for putting this whole thing together. If you hadn't talked me into getting that car, I wouldn't be having more fun at an RC track than I've had in years.

BTW- We forgot to get top 3 pics after the mains. We should make sure to do that next time.

Well, after half a day of messing around with some of the video editing software that came on my Mac and trying to learn the basics of how to put transitions, music, etc... to video, I put this little clip together with the clip Lamar shot a couple of weeks ago. The next couple of times at the track, I'm going to be going around the pits and the track with the video camera and the still camera getting some pics and video of cars, guys working in the pits, etc... and I'll put together a video to use as a commercial for the track.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

And after really watching that clip compared to the video from yesterday, my car sucked that first day. Much more planted now. I'll use some of the footage Pat took from my camera from yesterday for the next one. Lamar, you cool with me cutting up some of the other videos you take at the track to put these things together?

Hell no! I don't want to give away all my secrets! J/K

Front
3Racing shocks
Schumacher 40wt
2 hole piston
AE blue spring
4.5mm ride height
3mm droop
2 camber
1 Toe out

Rear
3Racing shocks
Schumacher 40wt
2 hole piston
AE blue spring
5mm ride height
3mm droop
2 camber

Stock chassis and top deck
Novak Mongoose ESC
Novak 10.5
Diff front and rear
3Racing tires
Exotek GT-Z Body
MIP front cvd's

That's about it. Nothing fancy. Just keep things clean, straight, and smooth and it should run fine. On that first day my car was sitting at about 8.5mm ride height with about 6mm droop. That's why my car was so much better yesterday.

That's fine.

That was a pretty good iMovie video. That is the perfect program for this type of video.

Thanks. I knew I had iMovie and iDVD on this thing but I was never really into messing around with videos. But I'm having a lot of fun with it now.

James, where was my car in the beginning of 13.5? When you shouldn't have had my car on video, you had the camera locked in! lol.

Even though the driving was terrible, I had a blast. Can't wait to do it again.
