Another great day of racing on Saturday... its events and tracks like yours that make me glad I got into the hobby. Much appreciation.

AJ, what car did you end up getting? I almost decided on one, just not sure if I want a TC or a Slash. A TC would be track only and a Slash I can bash off-roadand bring to track. Decisions, decisions...

Glad that you are having fun. You are doing great in the Stock 18R class. Keep up the good work. Let me know if you need anything or if you have any suggestions for me or the track.

You caught me. I really want you on the track playing with the toys. I love having you behind the computer but we both belong on the track too.

Mlight,

I got a TC5R. Mainly because I found a good price for one new in box. I was also told local parts support is good, plus I wanted a car that wouldn't need too much more money to grow with me if I get deeper into the hobby.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Cyclone S... but I was able to save up for the price difference (plus I saved some $ by pulling a servo and receiver from my 10 year old RC10GT). If I didn't have the cash though, I would have gone with the Cyclone S, lots of people have had nothing but good things to say about it, especially for parking lot racing. Who knows... maybe I'll get a Cyclone S later anyways for fun and just so i can run 2 classes.

Yes... I looked at getting a slash too, but got an 18R instead for the SD on-road tracks. I dunno, I never had an on-road car before so I decided on the 18R. I may have to get an SC10 later though for Barona.

Good luck with your decision! Hope you get something soon, building it is a blast.

Thanks Rob. It was nice to have a race day that I didn't have to think about anything else but racing. Although I cant wait to run this weekend. Everything is coming together great. You did a great job also. Hope to see you on Saturday.
