Last night was my first race on the new layout and I really enjoyed it! From my point of view (Uh...beginner! ) it has a good mixture of technical and fast sections, which is awesome because it forces me to drive smooth and hold the correct lines. Challenging at first (again... beginner ), but that layout will make me a better driver/racer. Tip-o'-the-hat to the WC crew and all the racers for a good time.

Default West Coast RC Raceway Membership Pass.

Does anyone know how much the membership pass cost? I'm talking about the track pass which reduces the price to 10.oo Dollars for Practice. Also- Does this pass expire? I didn't see any information on the West Coast RC Raceway website but I've read a few notes about a pass which reduces the practice fee by five dollars. I'm interested in buying this new pass

Thank you in advance-
Any insight will be greatly appreciated

Its $50 for the rewards card.

You get a free t-shirt and i believe $15 off your next race or practice. Maybe even on parts.

All i know is that this new program is definitly worth buying if you plan on racing a few times a month at least. Ive already earned over $20 in one day.

Default Practice

Hey Danny -

Just wanted to drop by and say I had a good time yesterday for practice, (couldnt stay for Racing) Track is alot of fun and I really liked the triple triple section. I think this layout is better then the last one and makes for some interesting racing. Really wish I could have stayed to race just had family obligations. Family first. I would have said hi but had to run and you looked pretty busy.

One thing - I wanted and I asked the guys in the shop if they could get the Computer up and running to get lap times on the offroad track but it never happened. I know its not going to happen every time but the last couple of times I was there it wasnt running and it would be nice.

From what i was told yesterday, its $50 per year for the membership. Free T shirt and first race. 5% of all puyrchase go on the card as well as race bucks, kinda like an ATM card for WCRC. With the membership you pay $10 practice, $15 to race. Without, it's $15 practice and $20 to race. There are other perks that are included, but might be worth it if you live close by.

The membership card is permanent and it has multiple purposes:

1) 5% discount on hobbyshop purchases
2) stores race bucks
3) pay the old practice/race fee

Danny had to eliminate paper race bucks. So this allow's them to upload your winnings to the card.

Its 50 bucks and you get a free shirt and a 15 dollar credit , the membership last 1 year.

I would just like to add that the only way you can be paid race bucks is with the rewards card.

Default 1:8 scale and 1:10 scale friendly layout

Hey Danny,

I love the facility! I think your passion for the hobby shows through and that you truly are trying to make this the best RC track on the planet.

They say it never hurts to ask... so is there any chance of the upcoming supercross series having a layout that is possibly a little more 1:8 scale friendly?? Of course while still maintaining the 1:10 and SCT friendly structure? I realize that your current 1:8 scale customer base is only a small percentage of your total business, but hey... that just means it has lots of potential for growth right?

Either way keep up the good work! We do appreciate having quality RC tracks in our area.
