Chuck Leslie Memorial Race
In memory of our Long time Racer and Friend Chuck Leslie, WE will have a SPECIAL MINI ONLY RACE in his honor. All Proceeds go to his Wife . STay TUned for more info.
The plan is to run his favorite Mini Class with 13.5 Motor. We will also open it up to 4wd Mini Chassis but with 21.5. We will post up the info as soon as we put it all together. Chuck was a Staple in the Socal Onroad Scene and was so helpful and kind to all racers. He will truly be missed!

We will have a few fun stuff going on for this event.
we will have a M Chassis Parade Lap. Fill as much minis as we can and do a parade lap or two.
We will have a few of Chuck's friends speak on behalf of him
We will also have a Mini Madness 10 minute race. 20 cars on the track. $1 to enter. No marshals. Winner takes the pot!
It will be a fun day indeed!

For the first time racers coming out to Cal, we are located right beside the big soccer field by the grass off Canal and Meets behind Sears. 2190 North Canal St. Orange, Ca 92865.
Look for the Canopies on the grass! See you all on Saturday!

We had a lot of new faces who showed up. 2 full heats of beginners too and a total of 4 heats of minis!
I wanted to thank Steve Allan, Eric Umali DeCastro, Jerry Justin Holsti, Ed, and Terence Webster for helping with all of Chuck Leslie's RC stuff, especially Steve Allan for putting together the minis for the rookie mini class! Also to those who donated parts, batteries, cars, and radios, Roy Imahara, John John M Arbona, Bill N Loren Hammond, Jason Smith, Brett Reichert, Brad Muther, Tom O, Kaz Fujiwara, Ken Gerberding, and the many who helped make this happen. Special Thanks to Angelo Angeles for graciously displaying his Mini Clubman for us to check out. Last but not least, out trophy girl Sandy Guzman for being our awesome cheerleader for the event! More pics to be posted soon!
