2018 Reedy Big Fat Turkey Race September 8th/9th (Freedom Park, Socal, Asphalt)
It's that time yet again this year, BFTR is scheduled for September 8th and 9th presented by Reedy! Signups are open at https://www.rcsignup.com/events/disp...nt.cfm?ID=6497
Schedule
Friday the 7th, open/controlled practice as needed starting at 11am closing around 6-7pm
Saturday the 8th, open practice until 10:30, 3 rounds of qual point qualifying (2/3 rounds count)
Sunday the 9th, 9am triple A mains, taking 8 into the show, 2 to bump per lower main, no gauntlet.
Classes
17.5 Expert TC
17.5 Sportsman TC (entries will be policed during practice based on best 3 laps)
Modified TC
USGT 21.5 (standard rules, bring your tires or buy on site)
F1 25.5 (standard rules, I'm open to a control tire if you guys want it. The Gravity tires seem to work very well for us and are the current ROAR national champion tire on almost identical asphalt)
USVTA 25.5 (PROTOform tires only, tread must be showing as USVTA rules require, drivers required)
Novice/Rookie, run what you brung to keep everybody with a place to race.
Possible classes include Eurotruck, Pro 10 (10.5t, 1s I believe), 12th scale (13.5t 1s) and our local Legends class with enough entries from any of them.
Entry is $30/$15ea additional class until September 1, then $35/$15
RV Parking permits are available for $30/day
The sedan control tire will be the Rush 36x, maximum of 2 sets + 1 set for the triple A mains all for a slightly under retail price

Just got back into town and replied to Kamali. If he decides he wants the spot then I will travel light and likely won't need the permit. If I setup with my grub wagon then I would definitely need one. Hopefully he replies before the am.
Brian, I am trying to get Briana in the 17.5 sportsman class but don't seem to have an option for registering her. I will just have to pay her fee at the track, thanks.
