Thumbs up Beware please read.

I've been receiving text on my phone from an area code 757. This person is attaching photos, from Facebook, and many other websites to make you believe he owns all these rc cars, I was a victim and after a weeks had to follow up with PayPal to get my money back.
Please be careful,
Juan240z..

I actually talked to the guy, He has another week for the truck to show up if not i will be filing with paypal. Hope this is just a coincidence, but kinda funny its the same 3 digit number. If i have to file with paypal i will definitely put his name up here for you guys.

Because ads were posted with cell numbers looking for something and no contact through tech via pm or posting in thread. I do lots of deals over text and phone but ONLY after contact established here. That way there is proof of who we are. Anyone could text Adam and say hey I'm Zack from rctech with 500 positive feedbacks. Adam looks at his feedback and says yep yep good to go not seeing that Zack is really Joe. NO gotta go through pm etc check Zack's story and protect yourself first. This is part of why I believe pictures should be required in a for sale ad. After half a dozen or so years on here there is only a few guys I'll deal with strictly via text or phone but I also talk to them on a regular basis.

The bigger question is, why would you post your phone number, or email, on the internet in the first place?

I'm sorry but these threads make me laugh. You have no one to blame but yourselves.
