Default BUYERS/TRADERS BEWARE OHIOFUN13 IS A SCAMMER

We made 2 trades, first trade was ok, he made out and we were both up front, second trade went bad, as usual he got exactly what I promised with pics, I shipped on time and sent him his tracking, He on the other hand sent me what he told me was a DEX210 V1 that he had 700.oo into, I got the package and the roller was nasty dirty, he said there was 3 bodies and 8 pair tires, only got 2 bodies and 6 pair tires, The roller was stock except for a pair of tresrey alum rear hubs, carbon towers and tranny brace, 700.oo???????? What I got sells on RC tech for about 130.oo, I had 1200 invested into my losi 8ight with aluminum caster blocks, rear hubs, upgrade kit, aluminum chassis braces, aluminum top plate, brand new no wear light outdrives on all diffs, Robinson steel spur, 3 bodies, 1 NIB bulldog, 2 newer sets of tires, 3 NIB aluminum spare towers, extra diff complete, ton of parts, springs.
We both agreed he would give me 150.00 plus the swap for his so called 700.00 DEX210, after I boxed and labeled he texted and changed the deal to 120.00 instead of 150.00, I agreed only because he had 700.00 into the roller, I GOT SCREWED BY CARMEN (DAN) MARINO OHIOFUN13

PLEASE, IF YOU DEAL WITH HIM BEWARE, HE WILL SCREW YOU THEN CALL YOUR STUFF JUNK THEN HE WILL INSULT YOU.

I think the 210s are $120 brand new.

Didn't you see pictures of everything included? Did you just take his word about $700, or were there specific items he was supposed to include?

If somebody has a selling point of $$$s invested I would want a list of the upgrades.

Not sure what information and pictures he provided you with on this, but as a trade you have very little recourse to undo the deal. The missing body and tires though are enough to measure honesty in any case.

Maybe Apl Hed was hoping for a turn-key race winning 2wd buggy?

It's very possible OHIOFUN13 spent $700 on the DEX210 v1 if he bought it new when it first came out, then added those handful of upgrades. It's also very likely the resale value is only $150 now because it is an "outdated version", and 1/10 2wd does not retain it's resale value anywhere close to a Losi 8ight.

The lesson? When trading, it should not matter how much money you have into an rc. Also, don't let your guard down just because you had a successful trade with someone before.

It sounds like he owes you another body and 2 pairs of tires. I wouldn't consider him a scammer. But he did take advantage of your trust. The trade didn't seem to be very even in the first place.

How many user names does this guy have? I know of at least 3 or 4 different ones over the years. Once a thread like this comes up, he changes accounts.

Here are a few more:

WOW, didnt know he had a few different accts, Him and I had a decent trade before this one so Its my bad for trusting him on this one that went bad, texted him and gave him a chance to make this right and he basically told me to go #$%^ myself, lol, he said he was 225 pounds and a boxer for ten years and he owns businesses and porsche's, and I was like...Yea? Idont give a crap who u are or what you own, sounds like hes got little man syndrome. Guess you wont see OHIOFUN13's acct anymore, till he makes another, I have his address and phone:
Carmen (dan) Marino

Youngstown Ohio

Is this the same guy that scammed others?

What a loser, I am a straight up kinda guy, I cant believe people would do this. Unbelievable

I was definitely giving him the better deal, I dont run 1/8 scale anymore, it was just sitting. But dont lie to me and tell me you have 700 invested when he bought the dex210 from a friend of mine and paid 130, He sooo lied and took advantage of my trust, sounds like a damn scammer to me.

Since you decided to reply here, mind explaining what all the different accounts are for?

I'm an eye for an eye kind of guy. Screw me and be prepared for getting paid back. U think the authorities are going to help get justice for the bad deal? Not going to happen.

It's not possible to find out who sent in the subscriptions. There are other more sinister ways to get even with a crook.
