Default pricing?

Is it just me or lately has there been a lot of people posting used items for sale and trying to get almost what they paid for it?
obviously they are easily ignored and there are good deals to be found, maybe I'm just getting old and tight with my money..

ive noticed this too, and im young. I would understand the price if it was new in box, but if its been used at the track, it shouldnt be the price of almost new if its been used. Heck if its the price of almost new, i would just buy it new then to waste my money on a used product that might not work right.

Yes, I haven't really bought anything lately - prices aren't really that great. There are a few, but it seems like less now...

It's an easy trade off - sell cheap, and buy cheap... It works both ways...

you know, for a second there, i thought R/C equipment just kept its value. some sellers are just not good business people. others, understand the value of a used item. how i do things, is base my price on how much things are going for, knowing that i probably won't get it for that price. it just helps me get as much out of the deal.

I thought I was the only one that was thinking this way.

"almost new" or "hardly used" doesn't translate to 90% of retail value for me. When it comes down to it I would rather pay the extra and buy the new one. Lets face it ... your not buying off ebay or off a forum to save a few dollars on an item. Your looking for a "good" deal. The only reason you risk your dollar making a purchase online.

isn't funny, we complain about it when we look for things to buy, yet we do the same thing when we sell our stuff.

maybe you do, but I dont..
I try to price items reasonable and fair..
common sense goes a long ways..
If I paid 300 for somthing and use it for 3 or 4 months then decide to sell it, I'm not going to price it at 275...
or my fav is when people have somthing for 300 and add a 30 dollar hopup to it and then think becuase of the hopup they can use it for a while, then try to sell it and get 310 for it...
I'm all for being business wise when it comes to selling somthing, but at the same time I'm not out to try and rip someone off either..obviously as soon as you break the seal on that new item you bought, you just ate a percentage of what its worth...

oh calm down.......that was why the laughing face is there. i price my items based on how much they are going for, and how much i have used it. reguardless how much i price it, i know that i may not get that much for it.

That all said ... who here has an esc for sale?

Preferably used once, with packaging and manuals for 65% of the best retail price I can find online.
