Default Should i leave negative feedback?

So some contacts me about a high dollar item, 0 posts 0 sales. I told him im worried about selling to him with no history. He asked how it all works and i explained it to him.

He said 'I will take it' so I told a few others it was sold pending payment. Days go by and with no payment, I understand people get busy. So i message him are you going to pay? He said other things have come up and he changed his mind.

In my mind 'I'll take it' is a verbal agreement. I've been burned before in this situation where I have left negative feedback for them and then they leave it for me.

Shall I just let it go? I just want other sellers to beware.

No deal actually happened so you can't leave feedback. I did start a tire kicker thread awhile back that I can't seem to find now. I was hoping guys would use it and that maybe with tire kickers being called out by name they would slow down some. Found it.

Brit, if you were left a negative feedback that was not justified, PM Racer with the details and if verified, he can remove the negative.

if there is no exchange of goods or money then you cannot leave feedback.
