Thumbs down mrrc7 is no longer responding.....BEWARE

I have tried to be as nice as possible for as long as possible, but I am about forced into this.

I purchased a Proline Pro MT from him on 10/7. He didn't end up shipping the truck until 10/12. For the delay, he said he would send some lipos for it.

When I finally received the truck, no lipos in the box and after looking the truck over, there were a couple issues. 1) the rear toe block was broken. Pretty easy to see as the rear wheel moved forward and back quite a bit. 2) rear bumper brace is broke.

I contacted him through text and sent him pics, he said he knew nothing about it being broken. I ended up ordering the parts, about $20 from Tower Hobbies.

Then upon hooking up a battery and testing, the esc (a Castle MMP) stutters like crazy. I took an hour of troubleshooting and narrowed it down to the ESC. I tried different batteries, rx, tx, servo, motor and esc. It all came back to the esc. I video taped it and uploaded it to YOUTUBE (made it private) and sent it to him. He said he would refund me a partial refund or get me another esc. I gave him time to find another esc. He said he was going to buy one from a member on here and have it shipped to me. Never received tracking on it and now he won't respond to texts or PM (he has been on multiple times since I sent a PM with receipt confirmation).

I am giving him until Sunday night to make it right or a PP complaint will be filed.

you know the drill. if you ask pp for a partial refund your odds of winning the dispute are drastically reduced compared to asking for a full refund/ship it back.

Sorry to see this but I'm not surprised. He is the reason I started this thread.http://www.rctech.net/forum/buyer-se...e-kickers.html
It went on a different tangent than I had hoped but it happens. He has quite a few ads and none have pictures many posts in others ads but then no deal made buy or sell. Guy seems to be a flake and now dishonest.

This is just another reason I believe in NO PICS NO AD.

And freak is right it happened to me. Paypal claim not as described for full refund and done is the only way.

This is what I'd like to see.

Maybe we need another poll and the third times the charm rule will take affect.

Maybe he can Chime in here, he seems to be still posting stuff for sale, I'm sure he would try to offer an explanation or defense perhaps.

He's aware of this thread, or will be when he logs in again. Assuming he checks his PM's. Speaking of PM's, how can you NOT know you have one? It's in BOLD saying you have one

He never told me about any family issues or deaths. Not in pm or text messages.

Pretty sure that was a rhetorical question.

It's especially hard not to notice when you're actively trying to sell things. I know when I have items for sale, the first place I look when I log in is the top right corner of my screen.

Dude is just shady. I had, or at least thought I had a trade going with this guy. At that time he only had a handful or so of feedback ratings. Two of which were negatives in a row. I had probably 70 or so with no negatives. Told him he would have to ship first and explained why I felt that way. Immediately after he stopped all communication. Text and PM.

Wasn't worthy of mention since no trade actually took place and it was his right not to ship first. Just a big waste of time and handled in an unprofessional manner, IMO.

Its so funny, because this is like our version of a "Soap" and most know the plot and outcome, but somehow it never gets old. On another note, doesn't seem that although he had a family tragedy... he went on with a pretty crappy reply to his previous thread...
