Not that it really matters at this point, but there are currently three different threads about this guy being a scammer and only one person bothered to leave a rating to warn others.

He couldn't, and he didn't. He's using a stolen PP account to make purchases. I'm guessing the OP in this thread was asked to ship to an address other than the one listed on the PP account??

In the other feedback thread for him he had a "wanted to buy" thread and got someone to ship the item to a different address than listed on PP, then made a PP claim saying he never got it. Which he can do since it was never shipped to the PP verified address.

The rules don't keep scammers out of that section. "Not my circus, not my monkeys!" blame IB.

What exactly did PP tell you? Where did you ship the motor to? Was it the verified address on the PP account that paid you?

ok I talked to PayPal the day the transaction went through the reason I contacted them was because he sent me more money that I was asking for. so I contacted racer09 and asked him then he said it was for shipping so I said thanks . Thinking everything was ok . Then when he sent me a diffrent address to ship it too I got a hold of PayPal and the rep there told me it was ok to send it where he wanted it so I said ok . Yesterday when I got the email saying that my account had negative the amount that was payed to me for engine . I contacted pp and they said they never received product then I gave them a tracking # of where the guy wanted it shipped to and of course pp said that I'm not suppose to send it to any shipping address that's not in PayPal account .so I told them that I contacted pp about that ? And luckily they recorded it and where the rep told me to go and send it to him where ever he likes it was on recording. So today I got a email that I got my money back and that dispute has been closed . I guess the pp recording did me justice .

The PayPal rep told you it was ok to ship to a different address??? IMO, you're very lucky..VERY lucky!

Never, never, ever ship to an unverified address! That's PayPal's own rule!

Wow..just wow
