I just logged out of the "full site" on my phone and went to the "mobile" site.

There is no trader rating under the screen name on the mobile site.

I don't use the mobile version on my phone b/c I hate it. Any one can go to the full site like it used to be on their phone and leave feedback. There is no excuse to not leave feedback but laziness.

I don't use the mobile site either. I also hate it.

But what I was trying to say is if the guy never used the full site and only used the mobile site. Maybe he didn't know how to leave feedback.

I wouldn't call that lazy.
Because in the mobile site it just gives a screen name then the post. Even clicking on the screen name. I didn't see anything that mentioned anything about feedback.

First, Andy isn't a moderator.

Second, He simply posted a link to this thread in the feedback thread you created. In the hope that you would leave your seller ACTUAL feedback. Which you did, but not until after your attitude filled reply to Andy. Who again did nothing but post a link to this thread which shows how to leave feedback.

The ironic part is that you yourself were complaining because people didn't want to deal with you because of your lack of feedback. Then when someone tries to help by showing you how to leave feedback and you get an attitude. As far as your comment about reporting people (moderators). FOR WHAT!?

First off, watch your mouth. Some of us dont want to read your potty-mouthed remarks. Second, if you report a mod guess who it goes to... thats right a mod. Good luck with that. The mods on this site are some of the hardest working I've ever seen. They keep this place clean (or try their hardest), and your thread didnt need to be made if you would've left ACTUAL feedback. Its a simple concept. I am not a mod, but if I was one, my mouse would be hovering over the ban hammer for disrespect. Keep it up Moderators. Some of us still appreciate the hard work you guys do to keep this site as awesome as it is.

I've dealt with my share of people who don't leave feedback. Not a big deal, but it's a little irritating. Not sure about the mobile version, but I know that most of the people who didn't leave feedback have left it for other people in the past, so they are obviously able.

The worst was a recent sale I made. I left feedback for the buyer and politely asked him to return the favor. He PM's me saying he would be happy to if he knew how. I sent him a return PM, explaining the whole process in detail. Then never heard from him again. I really didn't care, but why get me to write the whole thing out if he had no intention of ever doing it?

So, I'm a newb here, and use the siye in my phone. Just had a successful transaction with someone, and trying to give positive feedback, so I cane here to see how to do it properly. I did as the OP said, and saw nithing other than the option to send a message or visit full site. When I clicked on full site, it did nothing, stayed the same. So my question is, how do I go about this? Trying to do it right here, so any help would be appreciated.

If you click on "view full site" it should refresh and appear just as it would on a PC. I've edited feedback, as a mod, from my phone viewing the full site but I've never left actual feedback, from my phone. Honestly, I would say take the time and use a PC or laptop vs. a mobile devise, even though you should be able to do it from one.

If your phone won't load the full site you will need a computer to leave feedback

Going forward. If you post a "great seller" or "great buyer" thread with info that could and should have been done with the trader rating system, it will likely just get deleted.

CREATING A THREAD HERE IS NOT LEAVING FEEDBACK.

The 30 seconds it takes to do is not much to ask as a buyer or a seller. I've seen what seems to be more and more people not leaving feedback.

I agree.....less and less folks using feedback system. Always in a hurry to have you ship or to pay, but can't take literally 30 seconds and leave feedback....oh well. It is what it is....Happy holidays all...Go SEETHER on holiday project!!!

WHEN to leave feedback. NO feedback can or should be left until a transaction has taken place. That means a buyer has SENT an actual payment for the item.

I agree that no feedback should be left until a transaction has taken place! Once I pay for an item as a buyer with a seller I am entitled to feedback based on how I handled the communication with the seller. This feedback should be left immediately for he buyer from the seller.

Ideally a seller should NOT leave feedback for a buyer simply because they sent payment.

I completely disagree with this! Case in point I recently bought an item on here and have not received any feedback/trader rating from the seller. His response was simply, "Send to Receive"! I hate to break it to all you guys on here but that isn't how this is supposed to work! His feedback on the transaction from his end has nothing to do with my feedback on my end. The seller's feedback SHOULD ALWAYS COME BEFORE the feedback of the buyer. The sellers feedback is based solely on how the item was paid for and how smoothly the communication went to get the seller paid for the item!

The buyer's feedback is based on how quickly the item was shipped, what info was provided in terms of the shipping and if the item received was what he was expecting to receive based on the sellers description. I you aren't satisfied with the item received then the seller should be contacted before any feedback is left and given the chance to correct any problems! Once all is resolved and seller has been given a chance to do something then feedback should be left by the Buyer for the Seller. The buyers feedback should never come before the seller for any transaction. They are completely separate from eachother and completely unrelated!

Hopefully this makes sense because this is how it should be done and the correct way to leave feedback whether you want to believe it or not.
