No not a word from him since the last PM he sent me. He is waiting for the 21 days after i sent the payment for it to clear to send it back. I sent him money on 2/21/14 so 21 dasy after that is next friday the 14th of March. At this point i highly doubt that he will send it and PalPay is not much help anymore. So I'm out a buggy and gear and out $300.00. I guess the lesson here is i will never sell or buy to a member on here with no trader rating. But i have a week to see if it will actually go out. Only time will tell.

I am still not sure why thinks it is appropriate to wait the 21 days for the paypal to clear to return your car that was refunded. If he was selling this buggy to you he would still have to wait the 21 days and be expected to ship it out well before the funds were released by paypal.

Once this deal is done I see no recourse but to suggest you leave him a negative feedback with details in it.

I also worry based on his comments that you forfeited ownership under some paypal rule of customer satisfaction that does not exist troublesome. Sounds like in all this he was looking for a way to justify keeping the cash and the ride, either that or he has already put the buggy through the ringer and it is not in good shape, or it is parted out, or something we do not know the details on is happening.

At the very best he is immature in his understanding and attitude of the real world.

Well considering he used PP to receive the money before, why did he have to create another account? Maybe because they told him to send the truck back and he refuses? Maybe because he doesn't have it anymore. At this point, I would file a claim on the $50 you sent him. It's really obvious he isn't mature enough to understand adult responsibilities, and as such I have edited my iggy list. I personally think a suspension at the very least, is in order for him, but that's not my call.

Seems that he was wanting to do more than resolve the issue, he wanted to lay out some sort of punishment as well. And that on top of the other flags that popped up. Just more than I would ever want to deal with.

looks like the OP was online as recent as 3/3 though he hasn't posted anything in awhile.

I am assuming based on his responses that he feels that the item is now his and he doesn't have to send anything back at all as yo udidn't respond I guess in paypals timeframe.

You may want to call paypal and clarify that with them.

I've had to call paypal to deal with a few issues not relating to RCtech. But every time I have they have been pretty easy to work with. I would definitely be giving them a call and explain to them whats going on and send them a link to this thread. This guy isn't sending you anything back. They put 21 day holds on new paypal accounts to try and stop thieves from ripping people off like this. And by you sitting around on your hands you are playing right in to his little games.

Yeah and make sure they have his new PP info, they might need it. So they can link the two, wink wink.

Out of all this I think I'm siding with lv4. He manned up and paid for return and nothings happening. Bean is on block list.

I see Bean is sponsored by Boca Bearings. Might be worth an email to them and this thread as well. Not many companies want to be associated with people that have such odd ideas of ownership.
