It sounds like everything will be ok (or so I hope).
I agree 100%. I was going to post that same thought earlier, but wanted give it time as suggested.

Send the items back with signature required. You're rear-end is safe, seller gets his stuff back, you keep your money, everybody can go their own way. It's the only way this will end nicely.

Thread title changed, lets get this resolved.

I am hoping that this is lessons learned by everybody and that some personal growth happens. The fit that was pitched in the beginning about making it right and then to turn around and be so nonchalant when the ball got in his court just bothered me. Good chance that he has learned what is generally expected and will not get snared up in this kind of mess again, but time will tell.

And no, I have not put him on an ignore list, and if I felt the need to do that I would not think it was necessary to post that either. In a way that bothers me as well.

It's all irrelevent now, but I'm curious. So... Buyer beanstalk says PayPal ruled in his favor because of a complete lack of response from seller lv4sndz for 10 days after filing a PayPal claim for the item not being as described. Is that true? Or did lv4sndz simply agree to refund beanstalk if he returned the package?

Lv4sndz not responding to a PayPal claim against him as a seller is a really big no-no. Is that actually what happened to cause this thread to reach 6+ pages?

I'm not familiar enough with PayPal rules to know if there are any potential loopholes, but I wouldn't be surprised if things turn out strongly against your favor if you don't respond to the PayPal claim.

Fact of the matter is, OP stated that he got his money back. As soon as that money came back into his paypal account, he should have boxed it up. Then returned it to the sender. It doesn't matter what what other stuff transpired, he was in possession of items that no longer belonged to him.

As of now its my property....
Sorry to use big sizing but this right here,......
That whole statement........
If you actually read it, hes saying that its his buggy but he wants to be nice. So if no one on here was ragging on this dude, I would bet a dollar he would keep it. I mean its pretty plain text what hes saying.

This is worse than an 80's soap opera.

I think it's interesting that lv4sndz was nowhere to be seen until Paypal reversed the payment. You can't send something back if the seller won't respond - now that he is responding beanstalk seems to be trying to do the right thing. I don't understand some of the earlier responses came down on beanstalk. I can't see where he did anything wrong?

If paypal is not willing to back him up neither am i. I need paypal to instruct me with what to do as far as returning the item. He has to contact paypal so they can contact me. As of now its my property he gave up certain rights when he signed the paypal contract. Im willing to send it back but im doing it in the proper manner.
He was wrong to believe that stuff I put in bold

And that took this drama into a sequel, maybe a trilogy...

But, I have every hope that this will end well enough where a couple of people had to eat some shipping cost and everybody will have their blood pressure go back down and things will get quiet again.

We should all remember that paypal does it's best to protect both parties in a deal, but if it came down to matter of rightful possession they are not law by any means.

Give it a rest guys, like I said in the previous page. You're doing nothing to benefit the situation here. Until the buyer or seller post again, there's no reason for anymore comments.

Well beanstalk agreed to send me the buggy back. Weither he actually does is a different story. I sent him $50 to cover shipping costs, wich is plenty more then needed. Now as long as I don't get a box full of bolts or a busted buggy ill be good. Only time will tell.

Well i sent him $50.00 "Friday night" to cover shipping but haven't heard anything from him yet. No return text, no return PM here or phone call. $50.00 was more then generous to ship it back. He is actually gonna make a little bit of money on shipping something back that should have been sent back a while ago. I think I'm getting F'ed on this again.........Great.

Was this agreement made through paypal? Just wondering because it seems you're already out your equipment and your money. Would hate to see you throw another $50 his way for him to keep.

Time to call PP, send them his posts where he stated he was sending it back, also the one where he says it's "his" property, also you sent him shipping money for the return of the truck. Depending on their response, take the next step and contact the Police in his area, where you sent the truck. You will have to provide documentation of all PP's actions and also his posts here. Time to put an end to this. Time to take off the kids gloves. So get busy.
