you brought it on yourself when you originally said you had no intention of returning the item because paypal didnt tell you to. Seriously, what did you expect?

I took it upon myself and called paypal. The dispute department validated the fact that you ARE responsible for returning the item EXACTLY as received to the seller. If you don't do so within 15 days, and provide proof the seller can appeal and you will lose the refund.

The ball is in your court.

Thank you! Apparently he is young and doesn't realise he has responsibilities on this as well. Now get it done...

My Ignore list just got updated..
Beanstalk hopefully you do the right thing, regardless of the technicality you try and find in the Paypal process. You have your money refunded and the seller has even offered to fund the shipping process. When he sends you the funds for shipping the package back you would again have his PayPal mailing address.

nope.. this is where you are wrong.

This is not resolved until the refunded item is returned the seller. Since you have received the refund it now all falls on you to make as much effort as you expected him to make. You have left a clear impression with me that you would just assume do little or nothing now that you have your refund.

Ship it, insure it, track it.. that covers you 100% if you think you are at some risk here.

Try this... go to a retail store, buy something, not like it... go in for a refund and try to walk out of the store with it again after they give your money back.

Beanstalk is still posting here and that tells me that he wants to do the right thing. There is nothing stopping him from just walking away from the forum and signing up again with a different screen name. He has only been here a short time, it's not like its a huge thing for him.

He is here posting on his own merits. He has no obligation to keep us informed. I think everyone should relax a bit. As long as the item gets sent back, I think beanstalk is good to go. This has been an aggregation for him and he wants to proceed carefully.

It sounds like everything will be ok (or so I hope).

Beanstalk, your the kind of buyer that's a sellers worst nightmare! Just send his damn truck back, end of story. It's not yours you have your money, he didn't give it to you he sold it to you. Therefore it's not yours! Personally I will not be completing and business transactions with you Beanstalk....
