Default Can I dispute negative feedback?

I just received negative feedback from from a member.

We did not make a deal, nobody received items of money. I posted in his thread saying I wanted an item. I never sent payment because I changed my mind.

I do not think that is worthy of negative feedback.

Can it be removed?

Kind of curious here, did you let the guy know you didn't want it anymore? And he posted negative out of spite?

Not sure if I told him or not, but what difference does it make? I changed my mind.

To me, it is not a deal until both sides agree to some terms for payment / trade / shipping. Window shopping is expected by me, and it can send some mixed signals. But it is not a deal until it is a deal. On the other hand, it would have been nice to simply let the guy know you had changed your mind, he may have passed up a real buyer waiting on you. But at the same time, that being the case they could have asked if you were still interested when they had not heard in some time or had some other offer float up.

Mmmmm out of consideration and respect for someone, you would let them know you changed you're mind? Wow.

Yup... communication, it is a big deal, and a failure there leads to much butthurt.

In the end a lack of communication on a deal that never happened isn't reason for a negative. Especially from a user who's been here for 4 years with under 20 posts.
