Well to my disbelief a motor came in the mail today. Obviously not the motor pictured in the original for sale post, but a motor nonetheless.

The seller indicated it had 5-10 runs on it. It looks in pretty rough shape. My Tekin 1900 has a season on it and looks brand new. This 2050 is questionable. Will take it apart tonight and check it out.

Regardless, I will contact PayPal and have them cancel the claim. I won't be able to check to see if the motor works for a week or two but if it doesn't I really can't be bothered to ship it back to the seller.

Any word on the other two guys who bought items from this seller?

keep on it guys. Best bet may be to just get your refund since condition of items sounds like it will less than what was promised.

I attached a few pictures so you could see what I was sent.

My current motor is a 1900 that has a full season on it (in the pictures for reference). This means a 3 day race 1-2 times per month and club racing on all other weekends.

The sensor plug is split, the right solder tab is very loose, significant wear on the underside of the motor (that is not glare you see in the picture), the larger of the two bearings is seized (the entire bearing just spins on the shaft - the inner and outer races have become one), and the pinion shaft has seen more pinion changes than I could even imagine doing in two years.

Keep in mind he told me the motor had seen 5-10 runs which is the only reason why I chose to purchase it.

I will conatct PayPal and figure out the best was to return the motor and recover my funds.

darn, sorry to see this happened to you man. Hope you can get it returned.

Usually, when you have someone messig with you getting you the stuff you pay for, a lot of times heck, rather just have the money back.

Well PayPal has ruled in my favor, and my money has been refunded.

Hats off to PayPal, I guess that is why we pay X.X% for transactions.

Best of luck to the other guys who ordered items from this seller.

Good for you. I waited a few days before I filed my claim, so I'm hoping to hear from them in about a week. Glad you got your money back.
