ME: The RX8 does have a fan. It was never installed on this one. The sensor wire is included. I do not have a spare hotwire and need to keep mine. I have quite a few tekin 1/8 combos.

HIM: $240.00 shipped?

HIM: ok just to be clear,comes with boxes, paper work, fan with screws ,and sensor wire?

All of the above messages were on June 25th and June 26th. He never paid so I moved to the next guy.

Then I am away on business and get this on 7/13 ... (Over 2 weeks later) . I did not respond.

I may add the thread was marked SOLD. I am out of town and for some reason my work PC has paypal blocked. I told him I would send him a refund tonight.

So he then files a claim on my paypal account ... Thanks a@@hole! Am I in the wrong here? Should I check here often to see if people are sending money for things marked sold .. I am pissed ....

your not in the wrong, sounds like the guy isnt all there.... Who sends money 2-3 weeks later withour first confirming it is still available and also a thread showing it is sold. Then gets upset that the money isnt instantly refunded. IMO, I would Refund the guy and move on, although i would be a bit peaved that he filed a claim as well.

Sucks that he filed the complaint but you should refund the payment at your next earliest convenience.

Sadly, it would more than likely get removed since no trade actually happened. So the next best thing is to have OP give out his name so he can be added to ignore lists.

I believe this is the thread he's talking about: Tekin RX8 / 4600 kv Combo Mint! and nowhere does it say that it's been sold.


Still doesn't excuse the guy from blindly sending him an undercut payment then filing a paypal claim.

Mistakes happen, you should have marked the thread sold, but it doesn't mean you did him wrong. He should not have sent the money without checking with you. He definitely didn't need to file a claim for it. At least not until he tried to work it out with you first.

+1. The thread should have been marked as sold, but regardless, who in their right mind would send payment almost a month after the last communication with a seller? And on top of that, for less than the agreed price?
