neg feedback?

Default neg feedback?

Pay for some tires on 6-26 he says he ships on fri ok no prob pm ed on sat no response again on sun nothing again. Late mon he says it went out late sat.ok still no tracking # so today i got the tracking # it wont be here till the 11 th.what kinda feedback should i leave. Keep in mind he says he ships on fri and gives tracking same day. Thanks for any input

It sounds as though you have made your decision already and your looking for us to help justify it.
Ok he was a little late in sending and providing tracking number but the item is on its way and there may have been extenuating circumstances for that.
When it turns up and its what you paid for then to me its a successful and positive transaction all be it a little slow still the result your after,no need to leave neg feedback and ruin someones rating.JMO.

You will have received the item within 2 weeks of payment. Not lightning fast, but not unreasonably slow, either.

I would not leave none. I would probably leave neutral, unless he had a good reason? Things do come up, and sometimes those things are important.

As long as you get what you wanted, what you paid for(probably well under hobby shop price) be happy and leave positive for the guy. As stated things do come up.

I agree. This is where good communication comes in .
Neutral feedback if all is received as described. I think negative feedback is for obvious misrepresentation of a product or not receiving product.

The fact that it won't be delivered until the 11th isn't the issue and has little to do with what you're asking. Does the tracking info you have show that he did indeed ship it late Saturday or even on Monday? If so, life happens, and to be honest your item would have gone literally nowhere between Friday and Monday anyway.

To answer your question, if the item arrives as described and there are no other issues with the deal. I would leave positive feedback. The fact that his communication has been good, not great but still good, in itself makes up for not making his stated ship date.

For some of you maybe I should tell people "I'll ship your item as soon as I can" That gives me the option to ship it the next day and make you all excited and give me a raving positive feedback or I can ship it a week later and fall back on my "soon as I can" statement. That way you can't beat me up over how soon I ship your item.

Before you all blow up on me, point is that the way I read his post we're looking at Monday vs. Friday ship date, is it really that big of a deal

did you pay for faster shipping?

If you paid for him to ship it say the next day, and that was agreed upon, my opinion is:

1. You get your money back for the cost difference between what you paid and what it actually went
2. Feedback wise, really up to you to be honest. I would personally leave a message in the feedback at least stating he needs to improve paid upon shipping time.


Again, this is ONLY if you actually paid for fast shipping method in a certain timeframe he agreed to.

Mail does travel over the weekend. I've shipped on Friday to CA and it got there on Monday!

I don't really have anything to add to this situation unless the OP paid extra, above and beyond what the seller requested, so he would ship faster.

Sounds like poor communication to me. If you can't ship next day with some sort of conf. or tracking number, please let the buyer know just for peace of mind. I've had a couple drive me nuts when shipping slow and no heads-up! Just common courtesy.
