Default Do you consider this "Slightly Used"?

Would you consider this slightly used? Just looking for others opinions on something.

that is not slightly used in my opinion, i mean it may still work perfect but the servo case and heatsink itself are kinda beat up and there's dirt surrounding the spline.

Not one bit!
Slightly abused would be a better description.

i think the description "used" is more fitting.

slightly used would entail being in better physical condition, and abused to entail a malfunctioning item.

You all have the same opinion as me. I was looking for more opinions because i bought a that servo on here and the gentlemen that sold it said it was slightly used. I messaged him last night about what he sold me so hopefully he will do the right thing and try to fix this problem.

No. Slightly used is slapping it in a kit, running it on the street to test or once around the track. That thing looks like it's been in and out of several cars and used for an entire race day.

I just pulled the 1256 out of my SC104x4, which I ran all last year, and it's been out to the track for 4 practice nights and 2 full race days so far, all on dusty dirty clay, and after a quick cleanup with a toothbrush, it looks better than that...

This.

Also, they say a picture speaks a thousand words. If youre going to be critical of what you want, then make sure you get good pictures of the item before you buy. Or dont buy it.

The pictures are good, you can call it what you want. I would make an offer based on what I see. Which would be a used servo.

If you paid more than 50% of the price of a new one, then I'd say it is an issue.

For sure you should have asked for pics before buying if you were expecting a certain condition level for the price you paid.

Each persons idea of clean, like new, slightly used, ect. is different. You made a purchase without getting pics first? You can't really complain about the condition at this point, IMO.
