Everyones thoughts?
Hey everyone, just wanted your opinions on a recent situation.....
Sent this PM to a moderator, waiting to hear back, just wanted your thoughts....
I resently sold a used OS 21VZB Limited Edition #193 on the classified section. After about three weeks after the sale, the guy broke the engine(broken rod) and then proceded to leave negative feedback....do i have any recourse to get the negative feedback expunged?
I stated in my listing that it was used with 1.5 gallons throught it....
Thanks for any help you may give me.

I left positve feedback for him because I had no problem with him.....

He's had it for 3 weeks and now just giving you a neg feedback? Hell no. He could have been using the engine and broke it himself. He claims it was used for 3 mins? I doubt it.

no, he has had it to long to give a negative feedback. plus it is a OS engine.

i hate ppl like this had the engine for 3 weeks and he breaks the crank shaft and you get a negative. i had some clown do this to me on ebay, bought a nitro from me had it for 9 months then leaves me a neagtive saying the engine was dead.
ask a mod to fix your feedback....

I agree with everyone else as well, doesn't matter if it was brand new or had 3 gallons through it. You over rev on the box or upside down something is going to give, and usually its a rod. Three weeks is way to long to give a negative feedback, one or two days max is the limit i would say.

I would have been very surprised if they didn't correct your feedback.
That's the risk of buying used. It's also possible that there was nothing wrong with the engine and the damage was caused by driver error.
At any rate, 3 weeks is way too long to come back and leave negative on a deal.
Glad they changed it for you.

Not really, not on an internet forum. It takes ignorance or selfishness, but not balls. Its actually pretty cowardly, the way I look at it. "Oh I broke this motor. Instead of contacting the seller and asking a mature question, I'll just post negative feedback. That will show him!"
