+1 to all this... 100% that UPS gave him a tracking number. If he shipped from the UPS place it would even be on the receipt. 1Z like everyone else said. Been that way for as long as I can remember.

Even if he went to a Kinko's or other shipping location the tracking number will be on the receipt.

he sent me picture of receipt, no tracking info on it, just said ups store and said parcel post

total 14.72.

dint know UPS had a parcel post, and it should only be about 5 to 6 bucks to ship, asked him to refund my money and this seemed shady, he sent refund last night.

UPS doesn't have parcel post. Parcel Post is USPS. They may take packages for the post office, but I can guarantee I have never seen anything UPS without a tracking number. if it was shipped Parcel Post, you can do delivery confirmation. (USPS again)

Why refund if he already shipped. That doesn't seem right. I would have said wait for it to arrive and if not I will refund.

exactly what i was thinking, that tells me he did not ship and sent me a receipt of somthing else. i told him if it did show up i would send the money back. he also stated the receipt says expected delivery is next wednesday, no such thing was on receipt.

Shipper may have confused shipping from "The UPS Store" as the same as shipping "UPS." It may turn out to be an honest mistake. I hope it works out for both of you.

UPS Stores now sell USPS services. That receipt looks like a legit receipt for shipping Parcel Post. That's the slowest (and cheapest) method for shipping a package, so delivery will probably take 7-10 days, depending on the distance.

My last order from Tower came this way. I think UPS picks it up, then the Postal Service actually ships it. They emailed me a link to track it.
