Absolutely not. Buy through pay-pal, and research the trader rating. There is some killer deals on this forum.

not at all, i look at post count more than anything and date they joined rctech. if they have a really high post count that normally means they communacate well, if their join date is along time ago, that means they dint get banned, if they have less than 50 posts and more than 10 positive feedbacks, i get cautious, if they more positive feedbacks than posts i dont buy from them

Mike is right on this!! Just be careful even when people have great feedback like Mike here and 1 or 2 bad feedback that means some butt head tried to pull one over on them threatening there feedback !I have had a guy try that !! Just got to go with your gut feeling!!

No, not really. I first look at how well they type, if they can't spell, and their grammer is completely off, I don't buy from them. Then I look at post count, and trader feedback, and if I pm them, I wait to see how long it is before I hear back from them. Then I also go with my gut, if it says no, I don't buy from them.
This forum has some amazing deals, and has saved me a lot of money. I don't post a lot but I'm always honest when I'm buying, and selling, I'm on multiple forums and I've never had a bad transaction yet that was because of my fault. I know my grammer and spelling can be off but I'm on a smartphone, so it can be hard.

If people use text lingo, I never buy from them.

This might be a weird way to look at it but I'll spend as much money as I'm comfortably willing to lose.

Haven't done any business here on RCtech as yet but have done countless transactions on other forums. Haven't had a deal go south yet.

If you're scared then don't do it, period. Please don't act all suspicious of sellers and berate them with a million questions due to your inexperience and insecurity. Just do you research and be cool, see below.

If you've done your research on the seller, their reviews, and the people who left the reviews there is little to NO chance of being scammed.
